Over the Florida peninsula in the Gulf of Mexico is the city of Pensacola. Pensacola installment is part of Florida loving called 'Redneck Rivera' by the locals and in a way this is very true. Not only will you find some great upscale shops and restaurants, but can also relax on the white sandy beaches such as sugar stares out at the emerald green waters of the Gulf or can rent a fishing boat and try to achieve one of the many species of fish swimming in the waters around there. The sunsets along the Gulf Coast are some of the most spectacular you'll ever see, one of the best places to watch a sunset is a mainstay of many points along the water here. Fishing in Pensacola, as in most of Florida, is a good year. It is not uncommon for local restaurants to offer selections captured the night before such as snapper, grouper, tuna and wahoo. In the early summer months the shrimp boats come in offering their "seafood – shrimp much to the delight of locals and tourists alike. If you prefer to catch their own dinner you can book one of the many charter boats for fishing inshore for redfish, cobia or Pompano, letters can take offshore fishing for wahoo, dorado and blue marlin.

Families can plan a week there, of course, is the beach where you can sit in the sand all day or play beach volleyball or build a sandcastle on the waves. You can go on a fishing boat where you can go diving or snorkeling, and if you do not mind doing anything that you can rent a sailboat, or get a canoe or kayak and explore a river or one of the few lakes dunes in the area. At night you can enjoy one of the restaurants there are several, some of which have some live music nights a week. You can make a family night in one of the May-Putt Putt golf, go see a movie or a stop at a local ice cream shop.
